Welcome to the year 2 blog. We hope you have all had a lovely summer. Each week we will try our best to update the blog with what we have been doing, upcoming events and any important information. We will also post suggestions on what you can do at home to support your child's learning. Each child will be bringing a home learning book home next week where your child can record any home learning, practice spellings or write about exciting events as they wish.
Today we have sent home letters about our first trip which is to the Time and Tide museum in Great Yarmouth. We will be enjoying a Pirate-themed activity day and the trip will take place
during usual school hours on Monday 24th September. Please return all slips by Wednesday 19th September. Thank you!
Our PE day will usually be on a Tuesday but this may sometimes change. Also please remember to send in an extra kit if your child is taking part in a sporting after school club or bring it back in the following day.
Letters for after school clubs will be out this week and sign up is next Monday 10th September in the hall. Clubs will start the following week beginning Monday 17th September.
As the weather starts to change please send children with coats and wellies!
